Japanese pagoda tree - Styphnolobium japonicum

Description

The Japanese Sephora, also known as the Wig Tree, is a slow-growing deciduous tree native to Asia. It can reach heights of 10 to 15 metres and has a dense, rounded crown. The green leaves are made up of small, opposite leaflets and can take on a beautiful orange-red colour in autumn before falling off. In summer, the tree produces small, fragrant white flowers in hanging clusters. The Japanese Sephora is highly prized for its superb summer flowering and colourful autumn foliage, making it a beautiful ornamental tree for gardens and parks.
